The VSH Xpress PS902S (PICV) is a dynamic valve which combines pressure independent flow limiting and control in one body and has Xpress press-fit connections, it operates independently of changes in system pressure in a heating and cooling water systems by using the integrated differential pressure controller to maintain the flow regardless of pressure changes. A fixed inline orifice venturi which allows direct flow measurement with an accuracy of +/- 3% and accurate and easy setting of maximum flow. It can be installed directly onto bends, reducers or flexible hoses and will save time, space, and money. The PS902S can be used either with or without an automatic flow actuator; without it the valve acts as an automatic flow limiter which ensures the maximum pre-set flow rate is never exceeded, with the actuator it also acts as a 2-way control valve with full control authority which reacts instantly and adjusts the flow as directed by the Building Management System (BMS). It is available in sizes DN15 – DN50.
