What ISO certifications mean

The International Organization for Standardization (ISO) develops globally recognised frameworks that help organisations improve quality, environmental performance, and workplace safety. 

  • ISO 9001 defines requirements for quality management systems. It ensures consistent product and service quality by focusing on process control, customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement throughout the value chain. 
  • ISO 14001 sets out requirements for environmental management systems. It helps companies identify, control, and continuously reduce the environmental impacts of their activities from resource use to emissions and waste. 
  • ISO 45001 focuses on occupational health and safety management. It provides a structured approach to reducing workplace risks, preventing injuries, and building a culture of proactive safety. 
  • ISO 50001, which complements these standards, defines best practices for energy management. It supports systematic energy performance improvements and helps organisations reduce consumption, emissions, and costs.

Celebrating certification in France 

We are proud to announce that our French manufacturing facility, which specialises in copper fittings, has achieved both ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 certification. This milestone demonstrates the team’s dedication to sustainable production and a safe, healthy working environment. 

Their achievement contributes to our wider network of certified sites across Europe and beyond. Most of our manufacturing facilities are now covered by internationally recognised management systems.
