Below is a transcript of our recent interview with Dean Worrall.

Hi everyone. My name is Dean Worrall and I’m the Head of Domestic Residential Sales here at Aalberts IPS UK.

could you give us a brief introduction to Aalberts IPS and the home?

Yes, here at Aalberts integrated piping systems, we understand that every home you build is a reflection of quality, durability, and innovation. That’s why we provide cutting-edge, high-performance, fully integrated piping solutions that are designed to meet the demands of a modern house builder.

Aalberts integrated piping systems helps you build smarter, faster and better, giving homeowners the comfort and security that they deserve.

how can Aalberts IPS support you with your house builder projects?

Well, first and foremost, we have a nationwide UK sales team. We cover from Lands End to John o’ Groats, from Northern Ireland to Southern Ireland, covering everything domestic and residential.

Throughout a long history of looking after clients, we’ve developed excellent working relationships with both merchants and contractors. We offer technical support, we have a backup service within our customer support team and more importantly, we have a longevity, a brand that’s been established, and a brand that you can trust. Throughout the business, we have a global distribution network to help supply the materials when you need them.

what are the benefits to using the full Aalberts IPS system in the home?

Well, it’s easy. They’re designed with both client and contractor in mind, therefore Aalberts IPS has an outstanding range of products that provide advantages to the end user and installer alike. Aesthetically, they’re designed to offer visually appealing solutions for all applications.

We also offer heat-free solutions and a full range of Aalberts products provide heat-free installation, eliminating the need for hot work permits and reducing the risk of damage, which is equally important within newbuild as in social housing.

Zoning temperatures by area and time can lead to significant savings for the homeowner and we offer a range of products to help deliver that.

Here at Aalberts integrated piping systems, we use materials that matter, and we are renowned for quality.

what else are Aalberts IPS doing to contribute to a sustainable future?

Our metals lead the way in sustainability with 90% recycled content in our brass products. We’re reducing waste whilst maintaining quality. Unlike plastics, metal can be recycled forever without losing quality, creating a truly circular economy.

Our products are designed and built to last a lifetime. We operate to high standards: ISO 14001, 45001, 5001 and ISO 9001. We offer transparency that you can trust.

80% of our products have embodied carbon calculations, which are available to find on our website. We provide EPDs for over 3000 of our products and all data integrates with our Revit plug-in for automatic calculations for your own designs.

what makes Aalberts IPS TRVs essential for the home?

Well, first and foremost is compliance.

The future home standard, which was set to be implemented in 2025, aims to ensure that new homes produce 75-80% less carbon emissions compared to current levels, reinforcing the importance of fitting and using TRVs. In existing homes, a TRV in every room when replacing a boiler and of course, in legislation for new builds, TRVs on all radiators except where the room stats fitted.
